Character Monologue

This is a character monologue type thing I wrote for a story called "Not Guilty". The story is about a girl who struggles with accepting the fact that she killed her boyfriend when he tried to rape her. (Not my usual story, I know. I can't escape the idea though.) This is a scene that I've had in my mind for a while and I'm not really sure why. I figured I'd let people out there read it. The "monologue" takes place inside Izzy's head and shows what she is struggling with throughout the novel. Originally it was just for character development, but I really like this scene.
Somewhat inspired by the dance choreographed by Mia Michaels to the song Gravity. (Link) Dancers are Kayla and Kupono. I think it raises the emotional levels if you listen to the song while reading it. In fact you should watch the dance. It gives me chills every time I watch it. But that's just me.
Let me know what you think!

Note: I altered the formatting of what a script usually is to make it shorter and more readable.

INT – Auditorium
The lights are off and the entire auditorium is empty. There is a single spotlight pointing at center stage. In the center of the spotlight is IZZY. She is wearing black cargo pants with black high top Converse. Her shirt is purple and maybe a bit to small. She has classic black fingerless gloves on that go up to her elbows. She is looking down and her short, choppy black hair has fallen over her face. She looks up and her face is flawless and pale.
Izzy: My name is Isabella Traub, I am nineteen years old, and I am not a murderer.
She pauses and looks down for a moment.
Izzy: A lot of people think I am. A lot of people are absolutely sure I am. But I am not a murderer. It wasn't my fault. He told me we would just watch a movie. He told me nothing would happen. Of course I believed him.
A second, smaller spotlight comes on to the left of Izzy. RILEY is standing in the center of the light, unmoving. He is tall, dark and handsome. He looks a little confused at first, but then just stands there solemnly.
Izzy stands up and walks to the edge of her spotlight and looks at the man.
Izzy: I loved him. I thought I loved him. I convinced myself I did.
The man walks to the edge of his light, standing a few inches from Izzy. He reaches out his hand, but as soon as it leaves the light it disappears into the dark.
Izzy: His name was Riley Pattan. He was the dean's son. We met in a coffee shop on the college campus.
Izzy holds up her hands to the edge of the light, a few inches away from Riley's hands.
Izzy: Classic, right? Love at first sight, right?
Izzy shoves her hands back down to her sides and turns around, walking back towards the stool.
Izzy: That's what I thought too.
Izzy stops, turns around towards Riley and walks straight towards him. The large spotlight follows her until the two lights merge. Riley wraps his arms around Izzy. Izzy is obviously resisting the urge to smile.
Izzy: It's a classic story. Girl likes guy. Guy wants sex. Guy tricks girl.
Riley kisses her neck. Izzy tries to pull his arms away from her waist but he holds on tighter and tighter. He gets rougher and rougher. He tries to lift off her shirt and when that doesn't work, he goes for her pants. She finally gets away and knocks Riley to the floor with a knee to the groin. She walks to the edge of the stage as he struggles to get up. She picks up a knife off the floor.
Riley stands up and starts coming back towards her from behind her.
Izzy: Love. If it doesn't make you-
Izzy shoves the knife into Riley's stomach as he grabs her once again.
Izzy: It'll break you.
